W. Laird Stabler Jr.

Winder Laird Stabler Jr. (May 2, 1930 – February 24, 2008) was an American attorney and politician from the state of Delaware.

[1] Stabler was appointed as a deputy attorney general in 1961.

He was re-elected in 1966 and 1968 and served as majority leader during his second term of office.

[1] In 1970, Stabler was elected as the Attorney General of Delaware.

[1] Stabler served as the Republican National Committeeman for Delaware from 1985 until 2005.
