W. Wangyuh Konyak (born 20 October 1963) was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India.
Konyak won the Lok Sabha elections in 2004 with a margin of over 400,000 votes against his closest opponent, K. Asungba Sangtam who represented the Indian National Congress in the previous term.
[1] In 2006, he urged the Information and Broadcasting Ministry of the Indian government to ban the screening of the movie The Da Vinci Code in India.
He also asked the then Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio to convene a special session of the state assembly to ban the movie in Nagaland or issue an official notification in this regard.
