Weekdays on WLKF begin with a local news and information show, "Polk County Live with Len Erickson."

The rest of the weekday schedule is made up of nationally syndicated conservative talk shows: Brian Kilmeade, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Dave Ramsey, Eric Metaxas, "Coast to Coast AM with George Noory" and "America in the Morning."

Weekends feature shows on money, health, Christian programming, real estate, gardening, food, technology, pets, car repair and travel.

In the early 1980s, another call letter change took place, switching to the current WLKF.

The station began airing a full service adult contemporary sound.
