Jamner

Jamner City is a town and taluka in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra state in India.

It is roughly 20 km east of Jalgaon city and is located on the Girna River's banks.

The city has a lengthy history that begins in the Middle Ages, when it was a significant hub for trade and commerce.

It played an important part in the Maratha Empire and was ruled by numerous dynasties, including the Satavahanas, Rashtrakutas, Chalukyas, and Mughals.

The Jamner Fort, which the Mughals constructed in the sixteenth century, is one of the city's many historical sites.
