Wales, Wisconsin

Wales is a village in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, first settled by Welsh immigrants.

The city is also a few miles south of Lapham Peak State Forest, notable for its many popular hiking trails and for being home to the highest point in Waukesha County, at 1,233 ft (376 m) above sea level.

There were 987 housing units at an average density of 300.9 per square mile (116.2/km2).

12.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

10.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

None of the families and 0.2% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
