Walsh College

Walsh College offers a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and plans to launch a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and one in Technology this coming year.

Additionally, Walsh offers several non-degree certificate options in areas such as human resources, global project management, cybersecurity, data analytics and continuing education courses for tax and accounting professionals.

When Mervyn Walsh retired in 1965, the state of Michigan had adopted a new bachelor's degree requirement for candidates to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination.

During the 1990s, the college continued to enlarge its facilities, offer classes at other locations in metropolitan Detroit, and introduce new degrees and online technology.

[5] Walsh College assists the community in ongoing volunteer efforts: Blackwell Institute in Detroit, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Focus: HOPE, Gleaners, U.S. Marines, and Vets Returning Home, Inc.

In 2017, Walsh College was honored by the American School & University 2017 Educational Interiors Showcase[6] in the Collegiate Citation and Administrative Areas/Office categories.

[9] Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and recognized as a National Security Agency (NSA) Center for Excellence, Walsh College offers undergraduate degrees, graduate degrees in marketing, management, human resource management, finance, accounting, data analytics, information technology, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, automotive cybersecurity, a STEM MBA and an MBA in Organizational Resilience with several concentrations.
