Walter A. Dods Jr.

He serves as the Chairman of Matson, Inc. Walter A. Dods Jr. was educated at the St. Louis High School in Honolulu.

[1] He graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration.

[1][2] He served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of BancWest, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas.

[2][3] He serves on the board of trustees of the Honolulu Museum of Art and the Japan-America Institute of Management Science (JAIMS).

[1][5] Additionally, he sits on the board of governors of the Chaminade University of Honolulu, and on the board of advisors for Catholic Charities Hawaii and the University of Hawaii School of Social Work.
