Walter Blevins

Walter "Doc" Blevins Jr. (born March 29, 1950) is an American politician from Kentucky who was the Judge/Executive of Rowan County, a member of the Kentucky Senate, and a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives.

Blevins was first elected to the house in 1981, defeating incumbent Democratic representative Woody May for renomination.

[2] Blevins was elected Judge/Executive in 2014 following the retirement of incumbent Jim Nickell.

He resigned his seat in the senate and was succeeded by Republican Steve West.
