Walter Pollard

Walter Pollard (26 September 1906 – 26 July 1945) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside forward.

[4] By 1921, aged fourteen, Walter worked as a cotton weaver for the Wood Top Manufacturing Company in Burnley.

By this time, the family had moved a few doors down to 68 Nairne Street.

[5] Pollard married Gladys May Harrison in the September quarter of 1935 in West Ham.

[6] Pollard died from a heart attack 26 July 1945 in Ilford, Essex.
