Walter Scott West

Walter Scott West (March 13, 1872 – September 14, 1943) was a private serving in the United States Marine Corps during the Spanish–American War who received the Medal of Honor for bravery.

He initially received a bad conduct discharge in January 1899, which was upgraded to honorable in 1932.

Facing the heavy fire of the enemy, West displayed extraordinary bravery and coolness throughout this action.
