Wanstead, Langdon, master, sailed for Van Diemen's Land on 30 December 1827 and arrived at Hobart on 18/20 May 1828 with 23 passengers on board.

[3] Captain McAuliff sailed from London on 16 October 1831, bound for the whaling grounds off Japan.

On 29 December 1834 she returned to Sydney to procure fresh food as the crew was suffering from scurvy.

[5] Her crew abandoned Wanstead, Moodie, master, at 46°00′N 55°30′E / 46.000°N 55.500°E / 46.000; 55.500 on 27 September 1843 in the Atlantic Ocean.
