There were 1,502 housing units at an average density of 42.0 per square mile (16.2/km2).

The racial makeup of the township was 96.11% White, 0.70% African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.77% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, 1.15% from other races, and 0.96% from two or more races.

There were 1,469 households, out of which 38.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.1% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.4% were non-families.

14.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
