Wathlingen (Eastphalian: Wateln) is a municipality in the district of Celle, in Lower Saxony, Germany.

It is situated approximately 10 km southeast of Celle.

Wathlingen is also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Wathlingen.
