The unincorporated community of Farmers Valley is located partially in the town.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 529 people, 180 households, and 149 families residing in the town.

The racial makeup of the town was 99.43% White, 0.19% Asian, and 0.38% from two or more races.

13.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
