Wen Fubo

Wen Fubo (Chinese: 文伏波; pinyin: Wén Fūbō; 4 August 1925 – 28 October 2020) was a Chinese engineer specialized in water conservation.

[1] Wen was born in Taojiang County, Hunan, on 4 August 1925.

In October 1943, he entered National Central University, where he majored in water conservation.

After a brief term in the government, he worked at the Nanjing Yangtze River Water Conservancy Bureau in October 1949.

On 28 October 2020, he died of illness in Wuhan, Hubei, at the age of 95.
