Westye Egeberg (16 August 1770 – 27 February 1830) was a Danish born, Norwegian businessperson.
He founded Westye Egeberg & Co. a Norwegian timber company that existed from 1800 to 1929.
[1] Egeberg was born on the island of Als at Sønderborg in the region of Syddanmark, Denmark.
[2] In 1800, he founded the timber trade company Westye Egeberg & Co in Christiania (now Oslo), Norway.
He purchased the Gahnsbruket timber lands in Fet near Lake Øyeren in Akershus.
