Weweantic is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Wareham in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States.

[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.6 km2 (1.8 mi2), of which 3.3 km2 (1.3 mi2) is land and 1.3 km2 (0.5 mi2) (27.84%) is water.

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 1,903 people, 730 households, and 522 families residing in the CDP.

There were 730 households, out of which 27.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.8% were married couples living together, 12.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.4% were non-families.

24.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
