Whitesville, Georgia

Whitesville is an unincorporated community in Harris County, Georgia, United States.

[1] A post office called Whitesville was established in 1837, and remained in operation until 1905.

[3] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Whitesville as a town in 1837.

[5] The Whitesville United Methodist Church and Cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

[6] Whitesville is located in the northwestern part of Harris County in west central Georgia, and is served by I-185 and GA-219.
