Widgee Crossing South is a rural locality in the Gympie Region, Queensland, Australia.
Eel Creek forms the south-eastern boundary and part of the eastern as it flows north to join the Mary.
[4][5][6] The terrain varies from 40 to 140 metres (130 to 460 ft) above sea level with the lower-lying land closer to the river and creeks and rising towards the south-west.
It was named after Cornelius Lynch who selected Portion 4 in the Parish of King, in 1869.
[7] The south-western corner of the locality is within the Lynchs Hill State Forest.
