Sir William Alfred Brand, CBE (22 August 1888 – 26 October 1979)[1] was an Australian politician.
Born in Childers, Queensland,[2] he was educated at Apple Tree Creek State School[2] before becoming a sugarcane grower.
[2] In 1920, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland as the Country Party member for Burrum, transferring to Isis in 1932.
[1] Brand died in 1979 and was buried in Apple Tree Creek Cemetery.
