William Coady

William F. Coady was an American basketball official, coach, and player.

Coady played guard for the East Boston Catholic Literature Association's basketball team, which traveled the eastern United States playing clubs such as the Buffalo Germans and the Troy Trojans.

He also served as an assistant football coach under Frank Cavanaugh.

[2] After leaving B.C., Coady refereed college, high school, and amateur basketball games in Massachusetts.

[3] He would often referee two games a night during the basketball season while also working in the mornings a commission merchant in a produce market.
