William Hutchison McMillan OBE MIME FRSE (1886-9 June 1947) was a British mining engineer.
He studied mining engineering at the University of Glasgow graduating with a BSc in 1908.
His [proposers were Alexander Robert Horne, Sir Thomas Henry Holland, Sir Thomas Hudson Beare and James Cameron Smail .
[3] In the Second World War he was Regional Mining Supplies Officer for Scotland, as part of the Ministry of Fuel.
