William J. Fitzgerald

William Joseph Fitzgerald (March 2, 1887 – May 6, 1947) was a U.S. Representative from Connecticut.

Born in Norwich, Connecticut, to Irish immigrants,[1] Fitzgerald attended St. Patrick's Parochial School in Norwich, Connecticut.

During this time, he served on the State commission to investigate widows' aid in 1916.

He died at Norwich, Connecticut, May 6, 1947, and was interred in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
