William Laimbeer Jr. (June 7, 1821 – November 28, 1886) was an English-American builder and politician.
[4] In 1873, Mayor Havemeyer appointed him a Commissioner of Charities and Corrections, a position he served for 18 months and then resigned from.
In 1880, he became a Commissioner of Docks to fill Jacob Aaron Westervelt's unexpired term.
[1] Laimbeer was a member of the Freemasons and the Mechanics and Tradesmen Society.
He was married and had two sons, Richard M. and William E.[1] Laimbeer died at home of consumption on November 28, 1886.
