William Spence Urquhart (8 May 1877 – 16 July 1964) was a Scottish religious scholar, Christian missionary and academic in India.
Robert Urquhart, a minister of the Free Church of Scotland at Old Meldrum, and Mary Jane Spence.
Under the influence of George Smith, and against the advice of academic contacts, he chose to become a missionary in Calcutta.
[5] Subhas Chandra Bose attended Scottish Church College from 1919, and Urquhart is reported by Schmidt to have spoken for his admission.
