William Stafford Anderson (February 16, 1884 – March 28, 1980)[1] was a lumberman and political figure in New Brunswick, Canada.
He represented Northumberland County in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1930 to 1956 as a Liberal member.
He was born in Burnt Church, New Brunswick, the son of William Anderson and Janet Sewell.
Anderson was variously Minister of Lands and Mines and Chairman of the New Brunswick Electric Power Commission, both cabinet positions.
His son, Royce Anderson, was a Newcastle businessman and longtime powerhouse in the Liberal Party of the Miramichi.
