William Steele & Sons Company

The William Steele & Sons Company was an architectural firm that was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

William Steele (1839-1908) emigrated to the United States in 1846; by 1864, he was a carpenter and house builder in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

By 1881, he and his son, Joseph M. Steele, had formed a small business that, by 1886, was known as "William Steele & Son, Carpenters and Builders."
