William T. Monroe

William T. Monroe (born 1950)[1] was the 14th United States Ambassador to Bahrain.

Monroe attended Choate Rosemary Hall before receiving his B.A.

in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Monroe was the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy, Islamabad, Pakistan, from April 2002 to June 2004.

Prior to that, he was Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait.
