William Terry Jackson

William Terry Jackson (December 29, 1794 – September 15, 1882) was a U.S. Representative from New York.

Born in Chester, New York, Jackson attended the common schools and later studied surveying.

He was employed as a surveyor and later engaged in mercantile pursuits in Chester and Owego, and Bermerville, Sussex County, New Jersey.

He served as judge of the court of common pleas and general sessions of Chemung County 1839–1846.
