William Albert Wilkins CBE (17 January 1899 – 6 May 1987) was a British Labour Party politician.
[2] He joined the Labour Party in 1922 and became a member of Bristol City Council in 1936, serving for ten years.
[citation needed] Wilkins was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Bristol South in 1945, serving until 1970.
[3] He became an assistant whip in 1947 and in 1950 a Lord Commissioner of the Treasury.
