The 27th also includes the suburban cities of Middleton and Verona, and the villages of Black Earth, Cross Plains, Dane, Mazomanie, and Waunakee.

[2] Dianne Hesselbein is the senator representing the 27th district since January 2023.

She previously served ten years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 79th district.
