Woodbury is a town in Washington County, Vermont, United States.

After the U.S. Civil War, granite quarrying became a viable business, and the Hardwick and Woodbury Railroad was built to transport stone from the quarries to finishing shops in nearby Hardwick, which had a rail connection to the outside world.

There were 329 households, out of which 30.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.6% were couples living together and joined in either marriage or civil union, 6.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.2% were non-families.
