Woodruff, Utah

[6] The town was named in honor of Wilford Woodruff, fourth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.5 square mile (1.4 km2), all land.

[8] Woodruff's climate has high diurnal temperature variation, resulting in cold nights even during summer.

About 10.5% of families and 18.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 25.0% of those under the age of eighteen and 11.4% of those 65 or over.
