Worthington Hooker

Worthington Hooker (March 3, 1806 – November 6, 1867)[1] was an American physician, born in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Worthington Hooker School in New Haven, Connecticut is named after him.

Afterwards, he was professor of the theory and practice of medicine at Yale.

His principal works are: Hooker's book Physician and Patient has been described as the most original United States contribution to medical ethics in the 19th century.
