It is one of two acute and five community hospitals managed by the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
[1] An extension to the hospital was procured under a Private Finance Initiative contract in the late 1990s.
[2] The construction work was carried out by Taylor Woodrow and completed in 2000 as part of a scheme across the South Buckinghamshire hospitals at a cost of some £45 million.
A midwife-led birthing centre replaced the maternity unit and other services have been moved to the other hospitals run by the Trust.
