Xavier Marchand

Xavier Marchand (born 4 August 1973 in Deauville) is a former French medley swimmer, who competed in the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics.

He won the silver medal in the men's 200 metres individual medley event at the 1998 World Aquatics Championships in Perth, Australia.

[1] He won his first international medal (silver) in 1997, at the 1997 European Aquatics Championships in the 200 m individual medley, coming in second behind the Netherlands' Marcel Wouda.

Marchand is married to former French Olympic swimmer Céline Bonnet.
