Yalchiksky District (Russian: Я́льчикский райо́н; Chuvash: Елчĕк районӗ, Yelçĕk rayonĕ) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the twenty-one in the Chuvash Republic, Russia.
It is located in the southeast of the republic and borders with the Republic of Tatarstan in the north, south, and east, Komsomolsky District in the west, and with Batyrevsky District in the southwest.
The area of the district is 567.2 square kilometers (219.0 sq mi).
