He proceeded to make his professional debut on 8 November 2008 in a 0–1 loss to Olympique Lyonnais, coming on as a substitute playing 17 minutes.

Out of contention with the Tigers, he joined Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers on an emergency loan in September 2014 that was due to last three months[11] and made his club debut on 1 October 2014 in a defeat to Huddersfield Town.
