Yiannakis Gavriel (born July 17, 1961, in Deryneia, Famagusta) is a Greek Cypriot politician.
[1] He served as the secretary of the United Democratic Youth Organization (EDON) of Deryneia from 1989 to 1993.
[1] He was a member of the board of the Drug and Addict Information and Treatment Center (KENTHEA) from 2004 to 2008.
As the first alternate, Yiannakis Gavriel took his place in parliament on March 6, 2008, for the 9th Parliamentary Session (Cyprus) [el].
However, following the resignation of the AKEL MP for the Famagusta District, Christakis Tziovanis [el], Yiannakis Gavriel took his place on October 23, 2020, as the first alternate, for the 11th Parliamentary Session (Cyprus) [el].
