On 30 November 2021, Woodkid made a post threatening legal action concerning the use of his music in propaganda from a group supporting politician Éric Zemmour.

On 9 November 2024, the second season of the series Arcane was released, featuring an original song from Woodkid in the third episode, called "To Ashes and Blood".
