The station has a train arrival song in the form of an instrumental kroncong song "Sepasang Mata Bola" by Ismail Marzuki as a train arrival bell at all major stations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, recounting the Indonesian capital moving during the national revolution symbolized by a train from Jakarta to Yogyakarta.
