Yousuf Mustikhan

Yousuf Mustikhan (Urdu: یوسف مستی خان; 16 July 1948 – 29 September 2022) was a Pakistani politician who was the president of the Awami Workers Party.

National Awami Party helped to promote political awareness, Baloch literature and culture in Lyari.

[10] While living in Balochistan, Mustikhan used to participate in underground activities of National Awami Party (NAP).

[7] Mustikhan also joined multi-party alliance called Movement for the Restoration of Democracy (MRD) formed on 6 February 1981, to oppose Zia’s regime.

[31][32][33] As president of AWP, he was vocal on issues of land grab,[34] land reform issue,[35][36][37] housing crisis,[38] women's rights,[39] students' rights,[40] forced conversions of minority girls,[41] missing persons,[42][43] and economic crisis of country[44] etc.

[56][57] Mustikhan was selected as the first convener[58] of the United Democratic Front,[59] an alliance of left leaning parties formed in June, 2022 in Islamabad.
