[4] He is from Anambra State, Nigeria, the son of a veteran Nigerian actor Pete Edochie.

[10][11] Edochie joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first film titled The Exquires alongside Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa.

[12] He got his break in 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot in the movie Wind Of Glory.

[14] In 2017, Edochie ran for Governor of Anambra State,[15] and was the gubernatorial candidate for the Democratic Peoples Congress political party.
