Yumeshima Station

[1] As of September 2024,[update] Osaka Metro projects that the station will be used by a maximum of 130,000 people daily during the Expo 2025.

[2] Railway extensions to Yumeshima were planned first back when Osaka was bidding as a host city for the 2008 Summer Olympics, in which Yumeshima was intended to have an Olympic village.

[3] However, the extension was cancelled after the bid failed, with only the Yumesaki Tunnel being completed before the construction was stopped.
