Yusuf Estes

[3] Estes has served as a guest presenter and a keynote speaker at various Islamic events.

[4] Estes was named as the Islamic Personality of the Year at the Dubai International Holy Quran Award ceremony on 8 August 2012.

[7] In November 2017, Estes was denied entry into Singapore for having expressed views which were deemed by the Ministry of Home Affairs as "unacceptable" and "contrary" to the values of Singapore's multiracial and multi-religious society for advising Muslims against celebrating Christmas and Hannukah, which goes against the Islamic faith.

This was the basis used for the prevention of entry alleging his "divisive views breed intolerance and exclusivist practices that will damage social harmony, and cause communities to drift apart," according to the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs.

This resulted in criticism as Estes planned to enter Singapore as a tourist and not as a speaker and that people could make such judgements for themselves.
