Yvandro Borges Sanches

Yvandro Borges Sanches (born 24 May 2004) is a Luxembourgish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach and the Luxembourg national team.

[2] Born in Luxembourg to Cape Verdean parents, Borges Sanches arrived in Borussia Mönchengladbach on the summer 2020, from the Luxembourgian club of Racing-Union.

Progressing through the youth ranks of Borussia Mönchengladbach, he also played his first senior game in the summer 2021, during a friendly against Bayern Munich.

[4][5] In January 2024, Borges Sanches joined Eredivisie club NEC Nijmegen on loan until the end of the season.

[3] Called to the national senior team by Luc Holtz for the first time in August 2021,[7] he made his international debut for the Luxembourg national team on 4 September 2021, coming on as a late substitute in the European Championship qualifying 4–1 defeat against Serbia.
