[2] Dieken graduated from George-Little Rock Senior High School,[3] and received a bachelor's degree in sociology and criminal justice from Northwestern College in 2012.

[4] Prior to being elected to the Iowa House of Representatives, he worked as a state patrol trooper and a substitute teacher.
