His translations from the French include works by George Sand,[5] André Breton,[6] Colette,[7] and Marcel Pagnol.

[8] His co-translation of Earthlight by André Breton received the 1994 PEN Translation Prize.

[9] The anthologies that Rogow has edited include The Face of Poetry, a selection of work by contemporary U.S. poets with photos of the writers by Margaretta K. Mitchell, published by University of California Press.
