Zakaria Khan Chowdhury (Bengali: জাকারিয়া খান চৌধুরী) was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and a Member of Parliament from Habiganj-2.
[1] In 1960, Chowdhury created Purboshuri, a secret organisation, in London that would work for the Independence of Bangladesh.
He protested outside the Pakistan Embassy in London over the filing of the Agartala conspiracy case.
[2] Chowdhury was elected to parliament from Habiganj-2 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 15 February 1996.
[3] Chowdhury died on 25 March 2021 at Green Life Medical College Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
