Zefreh, Isfahan

Zefreh (Persian: زفره)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Zefreh Rural District of Sistan District, Kuhpayeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.

[4] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,689 in 581 households, when it was in [b] of Isfahan County.

[5] Zefreh has a congregational mosque from the Saljuq era with subsequent renovations.

Agricultural products are wheat, almonds, mulberries, and especially corn.

Weaving carpets, carrying the Nain design, was particular to women, who were also engaged in other cottage industries.
